After an epic few days of painting and inhaling noxious fumes, Malika has completed Airside’s redecoration of an airplane fuselage for the Mutoid Waste exhibition. Taking her inspiration from Egyptian mythology Malika created some

wondrous winged hybrid creatures and then made them participants in a mass orgy. Where the inspiration for that scenario came from is probably best left unsaid.

The Mutoid Waste exhibition is currently running at Behind The Space Gallery in London’s East End, where Airside’s fuselage should be installed for the weekend of Fri 05 Dec.

Full details on the exhibition can be found here.

Malika received her own piece of aircraft fusilage this afternoon. How lovely for her. But why, you may ask, is she in receipt of a piece of fusilage? Good question and I’ll tell you why – it’s because she’ll be doing an illustration on it for an exhibition organised by Mutoid Waste.

You can visit the exhibition from the 21st of this month, at the Behind the Space Gallery, in London’s fashionable Hoxton area. Visit Mutoid’s MyFaceSpaceBook page for full details about the show. See you there if you can make it.
