Wallpaper seem to like us very much these days. After the sexy font they came back for yet another commission:to design their christmas subscription illustration and this time there was no way around it. There needed to be a man somewhere.
Enough of my girl on girl action, it was time to step up for the challenge.
It took a lot of cups of coffee, one or two sleepless nights, a lot of design labour ( to the joy of my fellow airsiders who couldn’t stop laughting at the sight of my obvious struggle ) but in the end I realised that 70’s bearded men with turtle necks were the way forward.
Now that’s official, my men will never be as glamourous as my pin ups but they might eventually appear here and there in the near future.
We were surprised to find our Airplot branding was to be seen in the most recent episode of Channel 4’s Peephow.
