November 20, 2008A couple of weeks ago we received an email from the Mutoid Waste people asking if we'd like to take part in an exhibition of art & illustration. Yes we said, definitely. What do we have to do? Fast forward two weeks to the arrival of a lump of airplane fuselage... (see the blog posting).

Malika took up the challenge and you can see her work from tomorrow, Friday 21st November at the Behind the Shutters Gallery in Hoxton. Full details of the exhibition can be found here.

November 18, 2008We just finished work on an animation for Nokia, for their new geotagging mobile app, called viNe.

It's a short 'how to' movie, explaining in laymans terms how the software works. We worked with Nathan (who's Rubbishcorp blog you might be familiar with) and Dylan from R/GA to create this and we're happy to see it finally out in the real world.

November 17, 2008Nat, Fred and Alex have set off across the globe to visit beautiful Japan, and are traveling from Osaka to Tokyo.

They've been photographing interesting things along the way including this Mickey Mouse exhibition which they stumbled across yesterday; the exhibition features bags we designed a while ago for a Disney anniversary.

The three are out there for another week so check back for more news soon.

Whilst there, they are also working on a special project, details of which will be revealed early next year...

November 14, 2008Design Week's Creative Survey is out once again and we're happy to say that Airside continues to make the ranks.

As well as being at number 19 in the overall table (up from 23 in last year's rankings), we're proud to be ranked number two, second only to Red Bee Media, in the Digital Specialism table.

As they say in the supporting text, dedicated digital design awards are still somewhat rare and this specialism tends to get swallowed up in advertising awards, so we're all the more pleased to feature so prominently.
