Watch Alex at Virgin 'Red Hot Talks'
January 28, 2010Airside has worked with Virgin Atlantic on a number of occasions, designing products for the in-flight comfort pack, coffee cups and napkins, as well as wallpaper for the upper class lounges of Virgin Australia planes. In his talk, Alex discusses the design process for these products, showing initial mood boards and sketches. He also highlights the benefits of working with a company like Virgin, who understand the "value of design".
He also, rather mischievously, shows our branding work for Airplot – Greenpeace’s campaign to halt the construction of a third runway at Heathrow Airport. His point is to demonstrate how Airside’s environmental commitment means we look to make a difference everywhere, especially when working with other companies, like Virgin Atlantic, who share our commitment to green issues.
