London's purveyors of luxury cakes and savouries, Konditor & Cook, approached Airside for a comprehensive refresh of their identity (originally designed by Colin Melia) to coincide with the opening of their new flagship bakery at 30 St. Mary's Axe, known to many as 'the Gherkin'.

Taking inspiration from Konditor & Cook's artisan baking, we created a simple geometric design representative of the swirling patterns created when two ingredients are blended together. Using colours sourced from the bakery's trademark decorative icing, we felt the identity's central pattern was a good metaphor for Koniditor & Cook's fusion of art and baking.

During the construction of their flagship store, Airside also created a series of branded window displays to announce the store's forthcoming opening.

Airside have recently redesigned the Konditor & Cook website .

Following the identity's re-launch recognition of Konditor & Cook's brand increased dramatically, transforming their visual presence at a street level.

“We approached Airside with a brief to update Konditor & Cook's packaging and corporate ID. Traditionally we have always had a very strong design element to our disposables and bags, and Airside presented us with some very dynamic new ideas.

The final design showed great vision, it's application onto the cups, carriers and boxes was, at times, quite challenging for our manufacturers, but the Airside team handled it very well and provided flexible solutions.
