Airside was commissioned by Fallon to produce a series of idents for Sony's sponsorship of the UEFA Champion's League. The idents had to encapsulate the theme of the tournament along with the idea that Bravia televisions deliver a superior viewing experience, 'colour like no other'.

We came up with the idea of a hovering football, which is constructed from a flickering framework of multi-coloured neon tubes that perform patterns of animation like cuttlefish. Airside then commissioned photographer Graeme Stuart to shoot a series of backgrounds at a football stadium and the result is a hand-held style film of a slightly spooky, almost alien presence, hovering in the darkness of a deserted stadium.
